Farewell to you, wanderer!
You might have reached this page through one of the few links that
point here, or maybe you were just playing with
URLs.Unfortunately, there is not much information about me here,
but I will point you to a couple other places where you can
follow-up.
And, no, your CSS renderer is not broken; I virtue simplicity and
content over form, so this is really an HTML static page with no
stylesheet defined. Composed with Emacs, to say it all.
A few links about my scientific research and work experience:
- NetGroup: http://netgroup.polito.it/Members/darkThis
is my personal page on the portal for the research group I've worked
with in the last four years, at Politecnico di Torino,
Italy. There are also a few pointers to my publications and teaching
activities.
- PLUMgrid: http://www.plumgrid.com/My
current employer, a network infrastructure software startup, based
in Sunnyvale, CA, USA. I am also featured somewhere on the
website.
Somewhat popular websites where you will not find me
(non-exhaustive list):
- FacebookI used to be subscribed, but then I quit,
because it's really difficult to enjoy your stay in a website with
a
low SNR. Also,
the symmetrical friendship requirement does not really scale
well.Sure, it's up to you to decide which users you should
befriend, so you can enjoy high-quality content: however, the
trend is generally a vortex spiraling down, because even its
virtuous users are affected negatively by the unhealthy
environment. Or maybe my website friends just sucked.
Also, I have spotted some homonyms of mine over there, so tread carefully.
- TwitterBrevity is not necessarily an antonym of
quality
(see Hermetic
poetry), but the limited message bandwidth and the casual
audience do not make the website an appealing resource.
